Wrench Racer Golf Dept was established in my head around 2015 but it was not until 2020 before it became the real thing.

The name is an extension of my other website, Wrench Racer that came about after a career working as a motorcycle mechanic in MotoGP, travelling the world and working for some of the greatest riders in GP history.

I have had an addiction to golf and this travelled with me as I moved from country to country with the MotoGP racing circuit. I have been lucky enough to play on some of the most beautiful courses in the world.

As a mechanic I became interested in golf club assembly and adjustment. I started to learn and build my own clubs when I had time and this led to doing the same for friends. As my mechanic racing career started to come to an end I decided I would start a golf club repair and building business when I returned home, with an eye to include club fitting in the future. At this moment I am head long into my second (official) year of my club building business for golfers of all ages and walks of life and I am loving it!

I can offer golfers a wide range of services from Re-Gripping to Loft and Lie adjustments and everything in between. The harder the job the more I like it. I can also re furbish, re paint and customise your clubs.

Hi mate I just played 9. I hit every fairway I drove on (never done that b4). The slight cut has even gone, its rifle straight or slightly drawing. Played through two groups of 4 to applause and "shot mate!".
Boosted my confidence hitting other clubs and shot a 45, 3 off my PB and I haven't been under 50 for a month or more.

Alex did a fantastic job on my broken callaway rogue driver initially he custom fitted a new shaft which massively improved its performance. He then did an outstanding job on gluing and airbrushing the top cover back on (his son gets the credit for the airbrush)
It broke after some misuse from a 15 year old boy belting a ball with the top of the club see pictures. I think it looks better than the original and performs the same as it did before maybe even better. here to edit
